Originally established in 1919 as a supplier of steel and iron bar, John Hood and Co. has continued to expand its range of products. Over a century later, we now offer a comprehensive selection of metals grades designed to meet the needs of customers from a variety of industries including:

Sourced from around the world, we pride ourselves on supplying only the highest quality products including copper, brass, bronze, aluminium and aluminium bronze, cast iron, mild steel, stainless steel and alloy steels as well as a variety of other metals. These are all held in stock, ready to cut to length, in an extensive range of forms, sizes and different profiles.

Utilising either our own transport or nationwide couriers, we are able to work within short timeframes including next day delivery as well as facilitating on site collection for urgent requirements.
